Inovalys is in charge in particular of the official controls of the quality of drinking water and recreational waters for the departments of Loire-Atlantique, Maine-et-Loire, Sarthe, Mayenne and Indre-et-Loire. These analyses are carried out at the request of ARS Pays de Loire and ARS Centre.

Inovalys is a public laboratory approved by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of the Environment for water analysis.
