Why have rainwater analyzed

You are equipped with a rainwater recovery system for interior uses (WC, washing machine) and / or exterior (watering the garden, cleaning floors or vehicles) and you want to ensure the quality of this water.

These analyzes will both control the absence of microbiological contamination and verify the aggressiveness of this water vis-à-vis your pipes.

Description of the analyzes carried out by the laboratory

Used to control the acidity or alkalinity of a water. A low pH (acidic) may cause degradation of the metallic elements. A high (basic) pH promotes lime deposition.

Information on the mineralization of water, the higher the value the more the water is loaded with mineral salts.

Translate the carbonate alkalinity of a water.

Indicates the pH and TAC value so that the water is neither aggressive nor encrusting (chemically neutral water).

Corresponds to the presence of calcium and magnesium in water. High hardness promotes scaling, low hardness promotes corrosion.

Witnesses of contamination by surface water on non-disinfected surfaces; no direct health consequences.

These germs are of strictly fecal origin. They can be accompanied by pathogenic germs causing gastric disorders or sometimes more serious illnesses. If present and depending on the use of water, it is advisable to avoid ingestion and direct contact with wounds or mucous membranes; wash hands after contact.
