Contexte de l'analyse | Good reasons to carry out the analysis of waste water at the exit of my non collective sanitation installation: - You have a doubt on the good functioning of your installation (old installation, never checked or undersized) - Your installation is located near a well and you want to make sure that there is no health risk |
Liste des analyses réalisées | pH, COD, BOD5, MES, Nitrates (NO3), Phosphates (PO4) |
Wastewater consists of discharges from the whole house (WC, sinks, kitchen, washing machine, shower, etc.). Non-collective sanitation facilities (septic tank / micro-station) must allow the joint treatment of all of this wastewater.
Containing potentially pathogenic microorganisms, organic matter, nitrogenous, phosphorous or suspended matter, this polluted wastewater can be the source of environmental problems and significant health risks.
Non-collective sanitation therefore aims to reduce these risks and limit the impact on the environment (settling of suspended matter and biochemical degradation of pollution). On old treatment plants, poorly maintained, poorly sized or whose flora has lost its potential for degradation, there is a risk that the installation no longer fulfills its purifying functions.

pH : Used to control the acidity or alkalinity of water. Too acidic or too basic pH can in particular impact the microbial flora of the installation and alter the performance of the installation.
DCO : Provides information on the amount of organic matter present in water, it is a reflection of the pollutant load of this water.
DBO : Translates the biodegradable part of organic matter present in water.
MES : Residues of matter (mineral or organic) which remain in suspension in water.
Phosphates / Nitrates : Presents a source of pollution for the natural environment, in particular through eutrophication of watercourses.
