Some fish are very demanding on the quality of the water in terms of pH and hardness, the water must then be well adapted.
pH : Used to find out whether the water is acidic (<7), alkaline (> 7) or neutral.
Conductivity : Evaluation of the overall mineralization of water. Conductivity increases with mineralization
Hardness : Overall content of calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) salts
TA-TAC carbonates : Concentration of carbonates and bicarbonates
Nitrites : Undesirable chemical substance, toxic to fish in very small quantities.
Nitrates : Waste from the nitrogen cycle becoming toxic by accumulation.
